What Makes Us Different
Unlike traditional tech review sites, BeforeBuying.in does not rely on subjective opinions or sponsored content. Instead, we maintain a structured database of 384+ laptops available on Amazon India, with every page generated programmatically from real product data.
Every filter page, whether it is laptops under ₹50,000, 16GB RAM laptops, or gaming laptops, is built from database queries that run against normalized product specifications. There is no editorial bias in what appears on these pages or in what order.

Our Data-Driven Approach
Product data is sourced from the Amazon Product Advertising API v5, the same official API used by major technology platforms globally. We extract, normalize, and structure specifications across 20+ data points for each laptop, including:
- Processor (Intel Core, AMD Ryzen, Apple M-series) and generation
- RAM capacity and type (DDR4, DDR5, LPDDR5)
- Storage capacity and type (SSD, HDD)
- Display size, resolution, and panel type
- GPU (integrated vs. dedicated NVIDIA/AMD graphics)
- Weight, battery, operating system, and more
This normalization ensures consistent, accurate comparisons regardless of how different manufacturers list their products on Amazon.

BeforeBuying.in was founded in 2024 by a team of tech enthusiasts and web developers based in India who were frustrated by the lack of objective, data-first laptop comparison tools for the Indian market. Existing platforms either covered too few products, relied heavily on subjective reviews, or prioritized sponsored content over user needs.
Our small but dedicated team combines expertise in web development, data engineering, and consumer technology to build and maintain a platform that serves Indian laptop buyers with reliable, unbiased information.
